The whole experience is FREE for all schools.
Schools who take part will receive awards and have an opportunity to receive funding for their school.
The three stages
This school community event consists of three stages. Does your school have the talent it takes to represent your borough? This is your chance to show just how talented your school is! Awards, medals, trophies and funding will be given throughout each stage for participants and their school.
STAGE 1
TALENT OF YOUR SCHOOL
We will hold a showcase of your talent in your school. This can range from school choirs to solo dances. Glow and Grow staff will arrange and organise this special event. All acts are welcome to perform. If there are too many acts we can look into auditions or holding two showcases.
STAGE 2
TALENT OF YOUR BOROUGH
Selected acts will then go on to represent your school in a special showcase with other schools from your borough.
STAGE 3
TALENT OF THE BOROUGHS
Selected acts will represent their school and Borough against other London boroughs. It will be a spectacular school community event and a great end of year celebration for every school.

Glow and grow is a organisation with the aim to empower young people, create a positive sense of school community, praise talents and most importantly encourage children to grow and develop. Academic and sport ability is widely recognised in schools, yet the performing arts can often get over looked. This is why this school event is beneficial and necessary. We all shine and it would be great to grow and glow together.

Talent of the boroughs is a brand new award showcase for all London Borough schools. This school based event is organised by Simone Dominique ; a qualified teacher who also has musical talents. You may recognise her from many shows such as Britain's Got Talent when she performed the song 'Roar' with the Golden Buzzer Act Revelation Avenue and was also a part of BBC1'S Last choir standing, in which they came 3rd.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED?
This event is completely FREE for all schools. There are no hidden costs or expenses.
I HAVE SIGNED UP, WHAT NOW?
Once you have registered your school, you will receive an information pack which will outline the details of the event. We will then liaise with you to set a date for your school showcase.
WHEN DOES IT BEGIN?
The event will not take place until the next school year (September 2024). The first stage will commence in November and the final stage will be in July. We will work around you to set dates that will suit all.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO ENTER SCHOOL ACTS?
Yes! you can enter school choirs, bands, G.C.S.E dance pieces and any other teacher lead acts.
WHEN DO WE NEED TO REGISTER?
Registration is now open! The last day to register your school is 19th July 2024.
WHEN WILL THE SHOWS TAKE PLACE?
The shows will take place after school and not during school hours, as we do not want to disrupt any learning.
